I have an opened bottle of Omaggio 2004 that I bought a few years ago not knowing it was a Cab Sangiovese mix. I am enjoying it a lot and hope to be able to find another bottle of it, which is not always easy in Montana. I loved my visit to Healdsburg last summer but missed Seghesio’s tasting room. I’ll put it on my list for my next visit. By the way, I do love their zinfandels.

I red your note and wanted to take a moment to thank you for the nice comment.
I also wanted to let you know that we have changed the Omaggio a bit for 2005; for the first time we used non-estate Cabernet from Mt. Veeder. I hate to say it, but the wine is even better than before.
If you find yourself in the area again any time soon, let me know and I’ll make sure that someone opens a bottle- whether it’s on the list or not.
Lastly, we’d love it if you left a note from time to time on our message board. The family checks the board regularly and always tries to respond.
